Biography
Dr. Hallberg is a psychiatrist practicing in the Lakeview neighborhood in Chicago. He has been a member of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for adult psychiatry since May, 2008.
He received his BA from Carleton College in Northfield, MN, where he graduated magna cum laude in 1999. From 1999-2003 he studied at the Carver School of Medicine at the University of Iowa, and received his Doctor of Medicine in May, 2003.
He then moved to Chicago for his residency in adult psychiatry at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he received extensive treatment in dynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, diagnostic formulation and psychopharmacology. He graduated in June, 2007 from this program.
